I first joined Waddell & Reed in September 2016 and am proud to be with LPL Financial now. I was born and raised in Gig Harbor, Washington and graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Before joining Waddell & Reed, I was a high school math teacher and then in 2007, I transitioned to Private Wealth at UBS in Seattle. I found that I loved my new career in financial advising.
As a Financial Advisor, I focus on working with clients from all backgrounds to put all the pieces of their financial puzzle together. This includes planning for retirement, big purchases, education savings, and setting up a retirement income stream. I work with clients with rollover IRAs, Roth IRAs, 529 Plans, life insurance, long-term care, 403bs, annuities, and small business retirement plans. With my first-hand experience with trusts and estates, I can help with your legacy planning. Through all of this, I make finance and investing more understandable and accessible to clients.
When I’m not helping clients, I like to spend time with my husband and our two daughters. I spend most of my weekends watching or coaching our daughters in soccer and fastpitch. I enjoy spending time outdoors in the beautiful Northwest, including skiing in the winters, and spending time locally in the summer around Washington, especially Lake Chelan. We also spend a lot of time with our large, extended family. I currently serve on the board of the Washington Council on Economic and Financial Education (WaCeFe), which has the mission to implement financial education curriculum into schools.
