LPL Financial Advisor
As a Financial Advisor, I focus on working with clients to pursue their financial goals in order to enjoy a full life. Through researching market movements and investments, I create an investment portfolio to match your interests, risk tolerance and tax status. I realize the importance of setting and implementing financial goals, and enjoy being part of the process of seeing them come to fruition.
With my first-hand experience with trusts and estates, I can help with your legacy planning. I also work with clients with rollovers, 529 Plans, life insurance, long-term care, 403bs and setting up small business retirement plans. I currently serve on the board of the Washington Council on Economic and Financial Education (WaCeFe), which has the mission to implement financial education curriculum into schools.
I first joined Waddell & Reed with Jim and Shari in September 2016 and am proud to be with LPL Financial now. I was born and raised in Gig Harbor, Washington and graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Before joining Waddell & Reed, I was a high school math teacher in California and Switzerland and then worked as a Client Service Associate at UBS for a Private Wealth Team in Seattle for over three years. I found that I loved the financial management industry.
When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my husband and our two daughters, ages 9 and 11. I spend most of my weekends on the sidelines watching them play soccer, basketball and fastpitch. I also enjoy spending time outdoors in the beautiful Northwest, including skiing in the winters and hiking, camping, and swimming in the summers. I also like traveling, with one of our favorite, local destinations being Lake Chelan. I’m also an avid reader. We reside in Mukilteo and love the community it provides.
